The challenge

Homeowner wanted a flush, gap-free modern look on a sloped lot.

What we did

Stepped steel posts to follow grade, ran kiln-dried horizontal cedar with hidden fasteners, and matched a 16' pergola over the patio.

The result

Featured on the homeowner's remodel tour that fall.
